In early 2015, Paul and his wife Gwen put their money where their passion is by purchasing the venerable Bennigan’s brand and its sister concept, Steak and Ale. Now united under Legendary Restaurant Brands LLC, along with the fast-casual concept Bennigan’s On the Fly, the brands are poised for an exciting new era. Paul has been the President and CEO of Bennigan’s Franchising Company since 2011. Formerly, he was President and CEO of Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina, an award-winning fast-casual Mexican chain. His background includes operations, marketing, franchise development, and broker and distributor networks, as well as building and leading teams in start-up, growth and Fortune 500 environments. He’s also been on the franchisee side by building Uno Chicago Grills in the Midwest.
As Co-Owner and Managing Director, Gwen is integrally involved in new business development and administration for all Legendary brands. Prior to Bennigan’s purchase Gwen represented large, multinational organizations such as Compass Group and Cintas Corporation developing customized national food service programs for Fortune 500 companies.
Vice President of Operations
Shawn provides support to Bennigan’s franchise operators in 12 countries, as well as being at the forefront of operations initiatives in the U.S. He has a knack for menu execution, and is the hub for all things operations throughout the Bennigan’s system. Shawn has been bleeding green since 1987!
Vice President of Marketing
Angela oversees all marketing and promotional activities for our brands. Her passion and creativity have been demonstrated throughout her career while developing brands in the non-traditional channel for Yum!, marketing MillerCoors’ extensive portfolio and expanding Jose Cuervo to audiences around the world.
Vice President of Supply Chain and Administration
Deanna has been bleeding green since 1989! She is an accomplished supply chain executive and developed her expertise in global and domestic franchise purchasing, broad category experience, software implementations and distribution/logistics while working for Brinker International, Metromedia and TGI Friday’s during periods of fast growth and substantial change.
Director of Franchise Operations
Lucas is the hub of communication between our franchisees and the Support Center. His assistance with action plans and ongoing operations compliance allows him to conduct audits to enforce all levels of operations standards. Lucas oversees MIT programs and ongoing manager training to ensure “flawless execution” throughout the entire system.
Senior Manager of Training & Development
Yedid spearheads the design and development of training materials, techniques and tools. Her areas of expertise range from the design and implementation of training materials, to the training and development of new store trainers and managers. Yedid has many years of new store opening experience with our brand.
Shane has been bleeding green since 2005. Shane represents the operations department as the support center Training Coordinator, assisting in development of team members worldwide. Shane heads the ABCD Award program, and collaborates as the voice of Bennigan’s University! He is a key player on the marketing team, focusing on reputation management and leading all social media platforms.
Jennifer is a key contributor to our operation as the headquarters’ Executive Assistant, providing support in Franchise Development and Corporate Training. Jennifer additionally takes a lead role in the marketing department managing Creative Services and Neighborhood Marketing. She has been bleeding green since 2011!
