New York, NY – Legendary Restaurants Brands and Perpetual Licensing today announced that the two companies will partner in the development of a strategic licensing program for Legendary Restaurants’ portfolio of brands. Perpetual will extend the Bennigan’s™ and Steak and Ale™ brands, in addition to the Death By Chocolate™ trademarks, into great-tasting food products at retail. Licensed products will include appetizers, soups, frozen foods, meal kits, snacks, condiments, desserts and other food products.

Bennigan’s is one of America’s original casual dining restaurants and a beloved brand by consumers. Since 1976, millions of people across the globe have enjoyed warm, neighborhood Irish hospitality at Bennigan’s, which is renowned for such signature dishes as the World Famous Monte Cristo™, The Big Irish burger, Oh, Baby™ Back Ribs, Finn’s Beer-Battered Fish & Chips and the decadent Death by Chocolate™ dessert.

Acquired in 2015 by Legendary Restaurant Brands CEO Paul Mangiamele and his wife, Gwen, Bennigan’s is currently undergoing explosive growth both domestically and internationally and now has more than 250 restaurants open-under contract and/or construction.
